International Man

International Man is a useful service for new and experienced freedom-seekers, investors, adventurers, speculators and expatriates who are looking to live an international lifestyle. This usually means diversifying one or more of the following:

  • Assets: From how to move gold (and other precious metals) overseas, to second bank accounts, international opportunities and foreign structuring that helps to legally reduce taxes.
  • Income: The structuring of your cashflow to reduce dependency on any one source in any one jurisdiction: Establishing additional sources of revenue, international investment opportunities and trends, creating an international business and setting up a business overseas.
  • Themselves: Establishing a "bolt-hole" in case of trouble, as well as second residencies, second passports and even formal expatriation.

Like a Buffet

Of course, most people don't need or want to fully internationalize. They just want to pick and choose what's best for them based on their own personal preferences. For most, that's moving assets overseas and possibly establishing a bolt-hole in case things go the wrong way. Many others are looking for exciting and potentially lucrative investment opportunities beyond their shores.  Still, for others, a second passport is desired. For the rare few, expatriation is in the cards.

And whatever you want is ok with us. We're very much a buffet sort of service. Take what you want and leave what you don't.

Who Are We For

Of course, there are other such services on the net, and while we have something to offer for virtually anyone interested in the topic, we do tend to appeal to these specific groups.

  • People who are settled in their career or business – have a spouse and a young(er) family and/or other connections to their homeland – the demographic that simply can’t grab a backpack and head out, forgetting the world left behind. They tend to be focused on wealth creation.
  • Those who have been successful in life and now desire to enjoy the fruits of their labour in retirement or semi-retirement. They tend to be focused on wealth preservation.

We also tend to appeal to both those just starting out on the journey, as well as "old pros" who have been around the block a few times and want to connect with others of a like mind.

Lastly, we also often attract investment oriented individuals who want to take advantage of all the exciting (and lucrative) opportunities the world has to offer – regardless of whether they want to speculate from the comfort of their office chair in the den or get right into it, on the ground in some far flung corner of the planet.

Our Mission

Quite simply: Making Internationalization Simple...
...because, if we can help make the process simple, it frees you up to spend your time on more enjoyable things -- while benefiting from the extra stability, security and control over your life that internationalization brings.

Our Story

International Man has its roots in the book of the same name first published in 1978 by best-selling author, speculator and renowned world-traveller Doug Casey.

The original intent of that book was to give readers a general sense of the exciting and opportunity-rich world that lay outside of their national borders. With a review of over 100 countries of the day, he shared valuable “opportunity intelligence” and the resources that anyone could follow to realize these opportunities.

Even though the book is now markedly out-of-date, the need for such information is more relevant than ever. As the Western world continues to decline and the East continues its great climb upwards, much of what we know as fact is becoming obsolete.

New opportunities and new challenges are popping up on a weekly, daily and even hourly basis. International Man is there to help guide you through it.
