Joe Withrow

Part analyst, part philosopher, Joe is a proponent of free markets and sound money.

Joe spent the first seven years of his professional career as a financial analyst in the corporate banking industry. When Austrian Economics opened his eyes to flaws inherent in the fiat monetary system, Joe decided to walk away from his banking career to seek a more meaningful path.

Bitcoin has been Joe’s passion for the past several years. Joe spends much of his time reading, writing, and thinking about the crypto-economy. He also maintains a solar-powered Bitcoin mining operation in the mountains.

Bitcoin’s potential as sound money is what first attracted Joe… but it is Bitcoin’s ability to disrupt the crony institutional order that made him an evangelist. He envisions a world in which voluntary human exchange supplants coercion as the primary means of social organization.
